Attachment parenting needs hugs.

Why the name 24hugs?

24hugs just for you 1

The most basic, universal, borderless and international form of endearment is hug. Two or more people put their arms around the neck, back, or waist of one another and hold each other closely.

Every child adopts this gesture very early. Even before they start to talk, children use hugs as nonverbal communication to express love and affection.

Virginia Satir, an American author and therapist widely regarded as the “Mother of Family Therapy”, used to say:

We need 4 hugs a day for survival.
We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance.
We need 12 hugs a day for growth.

So, more hugs, more comfort.

That is why we assume 24hugs to be the perfect comfort to keep you and your child in a good mood every day.
